Lucy Horsell

Business Development Manager

I have been a passionate hockey player since the age of 10, representing school teams up to my final year at Oundle where I was lucky enough to be invited on tour to Australia and New Zealand. Since leaving Oundle, I have continued to play hockey, representing Potters Bar, Peterborough and Brighton (depending on where my job took me!).

Sport has always been my escape but has become more about fitness and fresh air for me than playing competitively. You don't realise how lucky you are at school to have time made for sport. I am a passionate runner and I have completed three 10k races for charity. Being honest however, my favourite way to run is alone on Brighton sea front where I live, especially after a long week in the car. I also love to ski, hit the gym and could walk for miles with the dogs on the weekend. Anytime the sun is out however, you'll find me on the beach volleyball courts!

I'm particularly passionate about what we’re doing at Squadkit for our girls and making sure they have kit they love. I remember the horror of games knickers and kilts at school! Being able to offer our pupils performance kit that is also flattering is essential to fuelling their love of being active. I hope that all young athletes embrace fitness as a part of life, whatever their ability or passion.

All Hill House School pupils now look extremely smart in their new Squadkit sportswear. The designs that Squadkit produced blended both the tradition of the schools colours with the performance of customised fabrics, leaving our pupils proud to represent Hill House School in their Squadkit clothing Martin Webdale, Hill House School
